Where should I park?

TD Center has ample parking in adjacent lots. Guests should park in the TD Conference Center lots off of Eisenhower Drive and enter through the fountain entrance. Check in will be on the second floor.

What is the official hashtag for the Summit?


Will presentations be recorded?

Both the breakfast and luncheon keynote presentations will be recorded and available via the Greenville Chamber’s YouTube channel within a few weeks post event. The workshops will not be recorded.

Can I get a list of all the summit attendees?

The Summit app is the best way to get to connected with attendees. All registrants are encouraged to complete their profile to enhance the networking experience. Registrants are also encouraged to attend the LEVERAGE. LAUNCH. LEAD. Networking Reception for connection opportunities with Summit attendees.

How can I be added to the distribution list to receive information from the Greenville chamber about events like this?

All Summit attendees that we have an email on file for will automatically be added to the Greenville Chamber’s distribution list to receive information concerning upcoming event and initiatives.

What’s the attire?

Suggested attire is business casual.

I have food allergies, who should I report this to?

The breakfast is a buffet so you can select food items based on your preference. Should you require a vegetarian option for lunch, or have some other special dietary need, please inform any of the servers as you take your seat and they will be glad to replace your meal accordingly.

Will tickets be distributed prior to the event?

Tickets and credentials will not be pre-distributed for this event so upon arrival you will be asked to provide your name to one of the many representatives at the check-in area who will verify your participation against the master list and issue your ticket(s) at that time. Your ticket and credentials serve as your access to the sessions and reception.

Is there a follow up to this event?

There are no formal plans for immediate follow up. However we encourage all guests to take the information learned and find ways to apply it appropriately to their respective organization. We also encourage attendees to visit the Call to Action page of the website to learn of more ways to stay engaged in the work of diversity and inclusion.

Will this be an annual event?

Our intent is to make this an annual event. Please save the date for the 2018 Diversity and Inclusion Summit scheduled for October 16, 2018.

If I’m interested in being a presenter or have a recommendation for a presenter for future D&I Summits, who should I contact?

Is there a way for attendees to provide program organizers with feedback?

After the conclusion of each presentation, attendees will be asked to complete a brief 3-5 minute survey related to that session. Also, post-event, guests will receive an email with a link to a survey soliciting your feedback on the overall summit experience. In advance, we appreciate your participation in our survey.

Will presenters have products for sell?

Yes, some of our presenters will have product available for sale at the reception. There will also be local artist doing live art demonstrations who will also have product for sale. We encourage you to support these vendors.

Will there be an opportunity to ask the presenters questions?

During the breakfast and luncheon keynotes, there will be two microphones set up for the Question & Answer period with our speakers.  Throughout these presentations,  please feel free to jot down any questions you’d like to ask. We will do our best to accommodate as many questions as possible during the allotted time period. All workshop facilitators are to incorporate time for Q&A within their session as well. Last, the networking reception will allow time for one-on-one conversations with the presenters.

What time will doors open?

Doors to the ballroom will open for breakfast beginning at 8:15am and the program will start promptly at 9am or soon after everyone has had an opportunity to visit the breakfast buffet. We encourage guests to plant to arrive before the 9am to allow time to get checked in, locate your table assignment and visit the breakfast buffet.

My schedule will not allow me to attend the full Summit. Will I have any trouble getting checked in upon arrival?

The check in station will remain open throughout the Summit for those that may need to arrive after the Summit has started. While we encourage that registrants make every attempt to attend the full day’s events for optimal experience, we understand schedules may not permit and we welcome you for as long as you can participate.

Do registrants have assigned seating during the sessions?

For the general assembly breakfast and luncheon keynotes, all sponsors will have a designated table with signage displaying the company’s name and table number. All other tables are considered “open  seating” for individual ticket purchasers. Volunteers will be on-site with ballroom diagram to help direct guests to their table assignment. Because we will be at capacity, we ask that you please adhere to your breakfast/lunch table assignment provided to you at check in. Your lunch table assignment will be written on the back of your ticket. Please note that some individual registrants may be assigned to a sponsor table where space may have been available. This is NOT a mistake, please consider this an upgrade! For the workshop sessions, there is open seating arrangement (no reserved seats).

How do I submit my attendance at this event for SHRM or HRCI credits?

The activity ID for SHRM PDCs and HRCI will be provided on-site during the Leverage. Launch. Lead. Networking Reception at the conclusion of the Summit upon attendance verification. Guests seeking to obtain certificate of completion should visit the SHRM/HRCI table during the reception.

Will you be accepting on-site registrations in case I know of someone interested in attending?

We will offer a limited number of on-site registrations and will accept cash, credit cards and checks payable to the Greenville Chamber. Guests registering on-site should plan to arrive early for check in.  Personalized credentials will not be available for guests registering on-site.  During check-in, guests needing to register on-site should get in the “On-site Registration” line and not one of the many “Pre-registered Guests” lines. There is an upcharge for onsite registration fee $150 for Greenville Chamber investors/members and $175 for general admission.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?

To reset your password: Go to “MY PROFILE” in the menu and click it.  You will be directed to the “LOGIN” screen.  Under the “Login” & “Register” buttons, there is a “Forgot your password?”  Follow the instructions.
